About Us

Aidan Lakes is an experienced provider of Counselling and Psychotherapy Services in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. He is a fully accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor, registered to practice with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

He works in private practice from rooms in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. He is also highly experienced in providing one to one, telephone and Skype counselling.

Aidan has over 20 years experience as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, not only in private practice in Newbridge, Co. Kildare and in Dublin 2 but also in national and regional public services. He now concentrates primarily on his private counselling and psychotherapy practice in Newbridge, Co. Kildare as well as working as an affiliate therapist for Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and as a clinical supervisor.

Using a one-to-one person-centred approach which integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques, Aidan helps ease distress and encourage positive change in his clients’ lives. He is available to provide counselling for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family support and bereavement.
