Supervision is a formal arrangement for Counsellors/Psychotherapists to regularly discuss their work with someone experienced in Counselling/Psychotherapy and Supervision.
Supervision is a process to maintain adequate standards of Counselling/Psychotherapy and a method of consultancy to widen the horizons of the practitioner whether through. This can help the counsellor to monitor their own practice, help to develop competence and build a relationship based on support and encouragement to enable the counsellor to grow in their profession.
Supervision is provided to accredited therapists, pre-accredited members and to students who are undergoing training in professional counselling and psychotherapy courses. Supervision is also available to professionals in related fields of psychology, social work, community work, social care and mental health professionals.
Supervision can be provided on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. and is available face to face in Kildare and online. Group supervision options are also available.
